One Young World Counsellor Mary Robinson, President of the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice, and Ireland's first female President, encouraged young leaders to take part in Call on COP.
Call on COP, an initiative of One Young World, is a global action on climate change in 2015, which is unifying the voices of young leaders to help ensure that governments act to avoid catastrophic climate change.
At the One Young World Summit 2015, young leaders from every country in the world addressed their Heads of Government on mainstream media two weeks before the Paris Climate Conference – COP21. Each Call On COP delegate delivered a speech highlighting how climate change is endangering our future.
The One Young World Summit 2015 took place in Bangkok from 18-21 November 2015.
